Associate Director, Prediction Services Operations - Central Region, Meteorological Service of Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada
Rebecca Wagner is a meteorologist and Associate Director of Prediction Services Operations for Central Region (Ontario & Quebec) at Environment Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science from Laurentian University and joined Environment Canada as a weather observer in Sault Ste. Marie. After two years, Rebecca decided that she wanted to pursue her weather passion and moved to southern Ontario.
Over the past 26 years, she has provided a wide range of meteorological forecasting and climate services to a variety of internal and external clients. Rebecca has received several Citations of Excellence for her leadership, teamwork, partnering, and collaboration at Environment Canada.
When she isn’t watching the sky, she spends time working in the garden, learning French, and exploring the outdoors.
